Email Verification for Online orders
Is it possible to implement some kind of email verification for customers who order online? We have already had few times that customers use unexisting email address and wrong phone number to place their order and we are not able to reach them out at all.

Online service charge (in our case credit card charges we are incurring.)
With the advent of trying to control the coronavirus, it seems that our business might be more heavily impacted with customers wanting to order online and want delivery. I see a jump in this activity. To this end, it would be really nice to be able to automatically charge a 3% service charge to the online order. When I say automatic, every owner could populate a field, and put a value in it, so that those customers that do not want to have this charge on the order, could put 0 in the field. 0 means 0 service charge. I…
4 votesHi!
Thanks for the suggestion. We have a few things in the works for this. With our 8.1 version (now in beta for the POS) we have a surcharge option that could be apply automatically to just online orders. This beta is not available yet for online but will be soon.In the meantime you may want to consider increasing delivery fees to help?
Best of luck during this uncertain time.

Add ordering by seat
We are currently using Firefly (we have for over 10 years) and are happy with the ability to order by seat number. In fact, we rely very heavily on it because we work in a team environment where a server can ring in food or drinks and another server can run those to their table. By having seat numbers we are able to provide better service to our guests by knowing exactly where an item goes, rather than “auctioning” it off at the table. It also helps us keep better organized.
We want to upgrade to Thrive, and this is…
4 votesThanks for the suggestion! Order by seat is definitely something on the list for the future. Many of our customers are using the “Subtotal” feature in thrive to accomplish much the same function in the meantime. Rather than entering a name you can enter a seat #.

Is there a way to set a requirement for a miminum count?
Is there a way to set a requirement for a miminum count? I have a requirement that the cust must pick 2 choices, butttt, because they might want to pick 4 choices, I have that requirement set at 0. If I made it 2, then they could only pick 2.

It would be nice to have a (Red Book). For quick viewing now that we have had our system over a year. call my I can explain 423-972-2184
Red Book compairs sales to prevous year by the hour. Also each day we can enter things like weather, parties, employee issues, local events and other things that might have effected sales that day. You could also have a colom for forcasted sales by the hour to compair to.
1 voteHI! Thanks for the suggestion.
We do have a similar feature in our “Forecasting” option. This would allow you to set today’s forecast based on last year’s sales +or – a %, or on an average of the last 6 weeks, etc. It also allows you to enter a note and disregard a particular day from the forecast if unusual events have impacted it. Here is an article about it: https://thrivepos.uservoice.com/knowledgebase/articles/938424-managing-sales-forecast-and-labor-budgetThis translates into forecasted sales by hour on the daily schedule screen https://thrivepos.uservoice.com/knowledgebase/articles/938562-create-labor-schedule-daily
We’ll be working on some improved forecasting reports in the future as we continue to develop Thrive Analytics.
Thanks,

Hi! Thanks for the comments! You can definitely enter a tip prior to submitting the order via the finish button and the tender screen. If you add the tip here and “pay later” the tip will still save https://thrivepos.uservoice.com/knowledgebase/articles/508594-add-a-tip-to-an-order-via-the-tender-process
For table orders, however, in some configurations finish may bypass the tender screen. In this case it is recommended that you add the tip from the orders screen after submitting, or use the auto gratuity feature.
Thanks!

"Clear Current Ticket?" Misleading- when exiting order screen
When in a pending order when you exit it asks "Clear Current Ticket?" when you do it doesn't really clear the ticket UNLESS your entering an order. Please change this to "Exit Current Ticket?" or something like that.

Default a size for a particular crust
When a crust is only available in 1 size, it would be nice to be able to default that size selection when the crust is chosen.

Diamond Touch had this. Maybe thrive can adopt.
Maybe thrive can adopt. When a make line printer did not print a ticket for any reason, ink, jam, power loss, that ticket was automatically directed to a working line printer. A message was also printed on that ticket informing us that a printer was malfunctioning. Which in turn led us to find and fix the problem.

Credit card batch report
Instead of going into each credit card batch report and see the total it will be so helpful if the total settle amount pops on the side of each date. That will save so much labor trying to match the batch total to the deposit we get in the bank

Production tickets with the time the ticket is fired and not the time the ticket is originally opened.
It would be nice to the correct time of when a ticket was fired on a ticket instead of the current method of displaying when the ticket was originally opened. host of the time guests get drinks and have appetizers before deciding on main courses. In this circumstance when an entree is later fired the printed time on the ticket is appears to be vastly longer than it actually has been. Thank you.
