We are currently using Firefly (we have for over 10 years) and are happy with the ability to order by seat number. In fact, we rely very heavily on it because we work in a team environment where a server can ring in food or drinks and another server can run those to their table. By having seat numbers we are able to provide better service to our guests by knowing exactly where an item goes, rather than “auctioning” it off at the table. It also helps us keep better organized.

Thanks for the suggestion! Order by seat is definitely something on the list for the future. Many of our customers are using the “Subtotal” feature in thrive to accomplish much the same function in the meantime. Rather than entering a name you can enter a seat #.

We enter 100-150 tickets at the end of the night and it would make it a lot faster to have quick buttons with $1,$2,$3,$4,$5. Also would be less mistakes by hitting 1 button if there is no change rather than hit 3 guest leaves 5 dollars hit the $5 button instead of 5, 0, 03 votes
Thanks for the suggestion. We are planning some changes to the server close process to make tip entry more efficient (all in line rather than one at a time). I like the idea of the quick keys as well. On the current adjust tips screen, you should be able to enter 5 without the .00 and still get $5.00 – at least on the latest version it’s doing that for me!

Orders / For Servers / Drop Down When going to orders, for servers, drop down list, it lists every employee in the system including non se
I copied and pasted this idea from a previou suggestion.
It would be very helful if the drop down list only included servers and ideally only the servers that are currently on the clock!2 votes
When a server edits a table order and adds more food, the order jumps in line on the KPS, following it's original order date, not the modification date. This causes the kitchen to make food out of order and upsets some customers.1 vote
Having a drink merge button that will merge all same drinks together so the bill is not so long or when updating qty of "another bottle of" the same only the new item prints at the bar not the updated qty.3 votes
there is already a floor plan but there is no option to add customers to a waitlist, or to assign them to a table by phone number (so customers can get credit for their rewards points while dining in), and to notify customers by text when the table is ready. Also attach a calendar that we can use to take large party reservations, so we do not double book during busy times.7 votes
Thanks for the suggestion. Adding waitlist and reservation functionality is definitely something we’ve thought about doing for a long time. We have a portion of our customesr who do table service and would benefit from it. Its definitely on the list for consideration in the future!

Would like to suggest a way to print multiple receipts for a table. When you click a table, and have 4 or 6 open tickets it pops up a window to show them all, could you possible add a button to Print All? Instead of having to recall all of them, or click each and Reprint from the order screen? Would be a faster way to handle large split tables :)5 votes
