Allow for new order notification. A sound that can be played when an online order comes in.
During the day when we are doing prep we need a sound to be played when an online order comes in so we know it has appeared. Currently, this can be done with an email notifier, but it seems simple to add this as an option to the software directly. Speakers required of course.

Production tickets with the time the ticket is fired and not the time the ticket is originally opened.
It would be nice to the correct time of when a ticket was fired on a ticket instead of the current method of displaying when the ticket was originally opened. host of the time guests get drinks and have appetizers before deciding on main courses. In this circumstance when an entree is later fired the printed time on the ticket is appears to be vastly longer than it actually has been. Thank you.

Change "Email Employees" to "Message/ Email Employees"
Under the cog wheel is says email no message employees. better to say message . even the confirming messages say messages not email. tks

Minor suggestion
This is what I noticed and I am not asking for an immediate change, only maybe someone should look at. On the app that a customer sees when they want to order from us, when they start their order, it gives them store hours and delivery hours. Unfortunately, those hours are taken from the online from the 0 line on both the store hours and the delivery hours. In my online, those sets of hours are a generic place setting. Punctuality Bonus
Short Version: Employees that are on time get paid more than employees that are late. Often used by corporations, this system encourages punctuality.
Long Version: Employees are hired at a certain wage (ex. $10/hr) and are told that that pay includes their punctuality bonus. If that employee is late clocking into thrive by a determined amount of time (ex. 5 minutes) then they instead get paid their hourly without their punctuality bonus. If the employee is late by the amount of time set by management then they only get paid their base pay.

Item Price Change Suggestion
We should be able to change the price of an item without having to do it as open food. For example. Say I have topping based pricing on my pizzas and my pizza cap is $24 but someone ordered a meat pizza with an absurd amount of toppings and I want to make the price $28. We should be able to change the price of that item and it would read as Meat Pizza $28, instead of reading as Meat Pizza $24 and Open Food $4. Add drop details to Store Summary
The Store summary report should have a section that shows all the drawer/driver drops indiviually and WHO made the drop. It is the one piece that is missing from the store summary. At the end of the night or in the morning it would be great to look at the store summary and know how many drops you were expecting in the Drop safe

"Pre-Assign" drivers their orders
Ability to pre-assign drivers their orders, but not actually dispatch them, so that they know what order they are going to take but the timer hasn't started yet.

Black out dates for employee scheduling
To make black out requested off dates. SO when there are days the we must have all employees work ie: super bowl, sports plays offs, NYE and any days we need, would just be nice to be able to adjust the availability of the requested days that are available, maybe even a limit.

Customer Search - Total of orders within a time period
When you do a customer search for someone who has orders within a certain date range, the results show all the customers who ordered but the $$ totals are for their entire history. I would like to be able to see the results of their order totals for the specified date range.

Text boxes lack focus
Most all of the text boxes in Thrive lack cursor focus. It greatly speeds up the order process when the cursor is already in the text box.
So for the Customer Lookup page the cursor should already be in the phone number box. Not the area code. The spot for the first 3 digits of the phone number. Additionally, after clicking any of the message buttons the cursor should already be in the box so typing can start right away.

Add a salesbuilder number to a closed ticket or print a barcode that can be scanned by the customer to add the purchase to their account.
Customers a lot of the time will forget to give their phone number when they make a purchase. Being able to add the purchase after the fact at the register or give the customer the abiltiy to scan or enter a receipt number themselves so they can add the purchase would be helpfull.

1 voteHi! Yes, we removed the unsettle functions from the driver screen for simplicity, so that all tendering functions can occur via the same method. If you need to change the tender type on a ticket, just go to the orders screen, click the total to get to full review, then click undo settle. From here you can tender the ticket in a different way. I understand this may be a bit of a longer process but keeping the credit card processing consistent enables us to provide a higher quality product. Thanks!

Remove the tendered line on orders that has not been paid yet
Remove the tendered option after grand total on ticket if order has not been paid yet or add option to printer setting to be able to remove it. Thanks!

Hi! Thank you for your suggestion. We currently show “Open Drawer” on the Open Drawer report instead of a ticket # if the drawer was opened on a No Sale. We can certainly add to the wish list to be able to filter this report to only show the “No Sale” type drawer opens.
