  3. Find a way to have production printers list items in groups to increase efficiency.

    In essense the system would automatically group items found in the same categories together ie. salads burgers sandwhiches dinners instead of in the order in which they were entered. this would allow the cooks to formulate a plan for how to manage big orders. For example our restaurant commonly seats 17 20 or even 25 people all at once. If the server goes around the table taking orders and then enters the items in the order taken then they print in that same order. but you might have 5 burgers 3 salads 5 dinners 4 sandwiches etc.. the cooks then…

    This is also associated with one of the previous suggestions. On The requirements, It would be nice to be able to group like requirements together. In my system, I have ckn dnrs. 2, 4, 8, 12, 16, 20, and 25 piece. Each started out with 4 sets of requirements which were built all at one time. So those are grouped together. 3 weeks later, we had to add 2 more requirements to each of the numbers above. Those were added to the bottom of the requirement lists.   5. help with menu

    If one wants to add anything to a requirements, Normally, they go to the item they are working on, select the requirements tab on the top, that shows what requirements are on that item. They show up on in the bottom right box on the screen. Then, when you decide which requirement from that list you want to modify , you need to find that same requirement on the left then override and then the item requirements appear on the top right box.     When I go into the config/menu, and select a menu page that has item buttons on it, when I select a button, on the right is the button setup screen. Half way down the screen is the Item Options which I think basically points to the item that we want associated with the selected button. When I am building the button, identification of where that item is at, isn’t a big problem.   8. Allow toppings to be set up with requirements.

    Currently, requirements can only be set up on items that are built with item based pricing. I would like to have requirements built in to topping based pricing as well. One case where this would be useful, for example, is in adding salads with topping based pricing, and adding a salad dressing as a requirement.

  9. Driver screen actual cash owed

    like a read out that has a positive or negative number
    example

    (order cash + bank) - ( credit card tips + delivery fee) = amount due

    would be easier to know how much cash to drop without going into crazy negative numbers

  12. Have system sort items by category when printing from production printers.

    I have submitted this suggestion before and was told that this option already exisited but no one's been able to figure out how to ge the system to do what I'm suggesting. So I'm resubmitting in hopes of having it looked at again.

    What I'm suggesting is that the system automatically recognise items belonging in the same category, ie. salads, burgers, dinners, etc, and group them together regardless of the order in which they were entered.   14. Charge delivery fee based off mileage

    We should be able to charge a delivery fee based off mileage from the store without having to define via a map. Since the system uses Google Maps to know the delivery zones, it would also know exactly how many miles it is. For example, we should be able to say if address is within 1 mile from the store, the delivery fee is 0.00, if it is 1-2 miles from the store it is $1.00, or 2-3 miles from the store $3.00 etc. Or simply make it something like $x.xx per mile, and mile 1 is $x.xx - also…

  15. SAME ADDRESS ENTRY ONLINE- DONT EXCLUDE BUSSINESS FEILD!

    This software was founded around pizza the delivery industy so why would the online address NOT INCLUDE a BUSINESS Field like the pos screen?? Have you ever delivered and read the field says "APT" and its a business.. WTH All that has to be done us use the same field used when you get a phone call... Why is ONLINE Need to know its a BUSINESS and NOT an APARTMENT LESS IMPORTANT? ITS NOT! This should have never made it past ver 1.0!! COSTING OWNERS MONEY paying drivers to be confused.. FIX PLEASE!

    I was adding a new page to my menu (basically for modifiers), so I went to the bottom of the menu screen in manager/config/menu and created a new page. I called it salad modifiers. I wanted to put it below the current salad tab. So I went to do a sequence on it. Nothing except the main menu button was visible. So I put in a case asking for someone to help me fix this.   17. Different Delivery Minimums by Zone

    For zones that are far away or difficult to get to, I have a higher charge, but I would also like to have a higher delivery minimum for those zones to avoid 1 pizza deliveries that are far away

  18. custmer look up and phone screen

    The phone number on the caller id screen needs to go blank once selected and an order is started. there are many times that a server picks up the phone too quickly before the new caller id data is received by the system and the wrong customer information is entered into the order.then order is made with wrong customer information on the ticket. for pickup this can usually be resolved. But for a delivery we now have wrong phone number and address.

  19. Show Day of Week in report Detail

    It would be helpful if the report detail that shows the date(s) the report covers and when it was created also showed the day of the week that corresponds to the date that the report covers. If a report is run for a range of dates this field would need to be excluded but it would be nice to see it as I'm stepping through one day at a time rather than having to look it up separately.

    This is definitely a small tweak that makes sense! We’re working on our next major release & this will include having the options icon available from any screen. This version should be into beta testing before the end of the year.
