Thanks for the suggestion! Order by seat is definitely something on the list for the future. Many of our customers are using the “Subtotal” feature in thrive to accomplish much the same function in the meantime. Rather than entering a name you can enter a seat #.

Thanks for the suggestion. Most users will use either the “Comment” or a user defined field for the Gate Code. I can see how it would be useful to make sure this data transfers to the Dr!ve app, that is something we can look into for a future enhancement!

Thank you for the suggestion! This sounds like a beneficial idea and we will definitely keep it in mind as we make improvements to the dispatch screen in the future.

Hi!
Thanks for your suggestion. We do have the ability to block “table” orders from closing to the register (Config > Order Types > Table) — which would require orders of this type to be “settled” instead. Would this help you out?Regards,

Hi Danny,
I hear you! This feature is controlled by the setting in Config > Employee > Job Type “allow tickets to be assigned as a server”. If checked, it will default to the server name. We added this to Thr!ve after getting complaints from ex-FireFly users that it was not defaulting (as it does in FireFly) but have learned that some people preferred the “All” default. We’ll work on adding in an option. You may also want to try unchecking this on your managers. I think the only limitation there will be that you can’t transfer table orders to them if it is unchecked.
Thanks,

Hi!
Thanks for the suggestion. It definitely seems that we could be smarter about limiting this list to servers who may possibly have orders during the time frame you are searching. I’ll put it on the wish list for future development.
Thanks!

Hi Joe!
Thanks for the suggestion. Adding waitlist and reservation functionality is definitely something we’ve thought about doing for a long time. We have a portion of our customesr who do table service and would benefit from it. Its definitely on the list for consideration in the future!
Thanks,
Duessa

Hi Michael,
I assume you are referring to Quickbooks payroll module, not just the accounting side of QB?

HI Craig!
Thank you for your suggestion. This makes a lot of sense and I can definitely add it to our “wish list” for an upcoming release.
Thanks,

Config> Employee> Job Type isnt a fix for ALL employees showing in the "for server" drop down. I only have Server, Driver and Manager checked as "allow tickets to be assigned as a server" yet ALL employees still show in the drop down.
