  1. get rid of the placeholders 0.00 for adding driver tips

    Love the new simplified way of adding driver tips, but could we have a blank box instead of the 0.00 placeholders because if someone just starts typing for example 5.00, it records 50.00 or 500 or 5000 unless they take the time to put their cursor to the far right. Too much room for error and slows them down to have to put the cursor to the far right.

  2. We need to able make it so nobody but the manager or higher can edit the time cards. This is high priority function for us.

    Security function that makes it so manager or higher are the only ones who can edit time cards. This is a very high priority function for us.

    Thanks for your suggestion. If you wish to limit access to editing the timecards, you can limit access to the Payroll Details report specifically. Please see this article for more information – if you are in Configuration > Security click on the Reports button to specify each report’s security level.

  3. Change the last name and first name order from the caller id box.

    Right now, last name goes into the first name box, and first name goes into the last name. Tech support told me because I run thrive, they can't change this. Can you change this?

  4. I was wondering if we could make an option for orders to say "Paid" instead of "Not Paid" after you coupon an order out?

    When you coupon out an order it will say Not Paid beacuse there was no cash tendered, although the order is already taken care of. Is there any way for it to say Paid??

    Thanks for the suggestion. Definitely makes sense that you would want that to say Paid. I’ll put it on the list to review – we have plans to do some revamping of printing in the next few months so this would be good to tackle at that time.

    Create a prompt screen that pops up before the end of sale that ask the guest how they heard about our bakery / location:

    The options would be:

    Hi T-Jay! Thanks for the suggestion. Although we don’t have this option today, you can add user-defined fields to customer profiles AND to deferred (future) orders, so that may help gather some data in the short term. We’ll definitely consider this for possible future development.

  6. invoices that you can print from the full review screen

    It would be nice to generate a pdf or jpg of a fancy looking invoice for customers. With all these nice features in this POS and all I can send my customers is a email of a ticket.

    How about a 8.5 *11 print with customization of a header and footer?

    To be able to email, print this invoice with only one or 2 clicks.

When i go in to enter the schedules at the bottom right there is a button that says clear this button deletes everything. can you please change it to say delete and maybe even move it over to the left. Is habit to close out of soemthing bu using the bottom right button and we have on many occasions deleted the schedule and it takes a lot to put it back in. Please and thank you

  9. SCREEN TIME OUT

    The screen times out and all information that you were working on gets trashed. Should not the screen auto log out when you touch a button or the mouse.

    example: if you leave the final deposit screen up for longer than normal at the end of the night the system will allow you to plug in numbers and push the save button. Right after the save button is pushed the screen goes to the auto log out screen. The user thinks that the deposit for the night has been saved and sent however the machine just allow the user to…

  10. change open screen to pick up instead of coming up as all orders

    when going to order screen, it is set open, all types... and should be set as open pick up, as people have been continuously clicking on wrong orders for pick ups and cashing out deliveries on accident. ( could of bought a brand new computer system by the time i figured out how much money i was losing on this accident)

  11. KPS Configuration (sizes)

    The KPS system only allows the abbreviation to be shown for item sizes even though there is plenty of room on the screen. This means, you get 2 letters for your sizes. Why not just allow the display name to show on the screen?

    Hi! Thanks for your suggestion about deferred orders. We do have the ability to set a default print time for X minutes prior to the desired order time, as well as an additional print time at a specified time the day of the order (such as 8 AM).   13. Default voiding options

    Love the defult options for voiding items, however 'ran out of item' and '86' mean the same thing. Instead of 'ran out of item' there should be an option for 'cashier error'...as well as the '86' and 'changed mind'.

    Hi! Thanks for your comments on the Void Reasons. These are completely customizable for your individual location. To change them, navigate to Configuration > Security, and about half way down there is an option to “Require void reasons” with a button that lets you set or edit the reasons.   14. Orders screen notation of deferred orders when live.

    When a deferred order goes live, there needs to be a notation that an order is a deferred order, and the time it is deferred for on the orders screen. There is no way of knowing as of now.

    Also, a deferred order notation on the dispatch screen would be helpful as well. It does change the promise time which sorts deliveries in the proper order, but if the times are close, we need to know which orders are deferred so we can make them a priority.

    Thanks for the suggestion. We don’t usually designate Catering as an order type, since catering orders can be for delivery OR pickup, which require different settings, etc.

    If you want to report on Catering sales, I recommend that you use the “Revenue Center” to designate Catering type items.

    If you do want to proceed with a catering order type, we can rename for you one of the existing types that are rarely used, such as Eat IN or Drive Thru.

  16. Trend Report - Excel should export to format of colomns and rows versus printed output. Excel analysis in current format is labor intensive

    PROBLEM :User required to manipulate data to attempt to analyze in excel due to data format and data type translations for dates SOLUTION: For the export, (1) the columns headers should be Date, Gross Order Total, Total Net Sales, Total Sales, Daily Average Sales, (the rest of the row headers), etc.., all on the top. (2) The data values populated underneath the appropriate column headers (3) Export to Excel would be seamless without manipulating the data output for analysis purposes (4) correct data format to be mm/dd/yyyy.   17. Remove Request offs that have been approved/denied

    When doing scheduling in the computer employees make request off of something. But, once it is approved/ denied it stays on the time off request page and emails them everytime another employees request is approved or denied showing their original request. Also it causes unneccesary clutter on the request off page.

    Hi! Thanks for the suggestion. We currently display any future time off requests that have been approved/denied, for your planning and reference purposes. Once the date has passed, these should no longer appear on the screen. I am not able to reproduce sending duplicate emails when another request is approved! Please contact our support team with more information on how this occurs.

    We will be redesigning some of these ares in the near future and will consider giving you more control over what requests you want to see on this screen!

  18. Require a drink to be put in before order can be sent through for dine in

    Saw a POS system that would not allow a order to go through without at least one drink per patron to be put in. Wine, beer, liquor fountain or even water. Just set up for bar or table. One of our biggest thefts and time we audit deals with tables without drinks on the ticket. We require at least waters put on so if we have the ability to spot check we can see if it is actually water or something else.

  19. Remove the tendered line on orders that has not been paid yet

    Remove the tendered option after grand total on ticket if order has not been paid yet or add option to printer setting to be able to remove it. Thanks!

  20. Add a salesbuilder number to a closed ticket or print a barcode that can be scanned by the customer to add the purchase to their account.

    Customers a lot of the time will forget to give their phone number when they make a purchase. Being able to add the purchase after the fact at the register or give the customer the abiltiy to scan or enter a receipt number themselves so they can add the purchase would be helpfull.
