    Thanks for the suggestion. This is definitely a product integration we’d like to do at some point. We’re in the process of revamping our menu management tools this year and that will result in some new API tools that will make integration much easier in the future.

    I second this. It would be nice to have something on the dispatch screen to differentiate the timed orders from the regular orders as well though. Promie time in bold or a different color maybe?

    Thank you for your feedback. We are always working on improving the online experience and your suggestions are valuable.

    Just to comment on a few of your specifics. Because order type can affect the availability of coupons and the tax rates, its pretty important to know it up front – we’ve felt that it creates more customer confusion if prices change or coupons are unavailable at the end of the order when a type is selected.

    We are currently working on some changes to make the schedule option more prominent, so you should see that soon.

    We can definitely look into making the Reorder option more prominent, and we do plan to improve the log on experience of the mobile app. As far as having the app function without internet — there are a number of real time updates that can occur between a restaurant and the app –…

    Thank you for the response. As for the app, I was just suggesting it be able to operate without internet for performance purposes. The online ordering platform I used before thrive had an app associated with it and the app had most of the items basically preloaded which provided a much faster user experience than the mobile website.

    I was going to suggest this as well. We need the option to be able to set what the default is. We have a station that is mainly used for pickups so every time we help a customer, we have to press the pickups button so we don't have navigate through all the deliveries.

    Hi Jeff,
    Thank for the suggestion. We do have plans to allow you to change the order type names in the future. However, I’m not sure this will be the best way to track orders from 3rd party systems, as each order type behaves in a special way. For example, deliveries appear on the dispatch screen – and you would want that to happen regardless of what online system it came from. Many sites use a custom tender type to finish orders from various 3rd parties, as we way to track how much each site owes. Maybe that would help?

    In the meantime, you can probably just use one of the order types that doesn't get used. Then hopefully when they add this feature you can just edit it so all your reporting stays intact. You should get that third party online ordering integrated though. Makes like so much easier!

    Hi! Thanks for the suggestion about using gift cards to pay online. We are definitely planning to add this functionality and in fact have completed some of the work, however it is a bit more complex because it also requires us to allow multiple payment methods per order (since often a gift card balance may not be sufficient to cover the full order amount). Finishing up this portion is on the roadmap for 2018.

    Thank you for responding. That makes sense I hadn't thought about that aspect. Adding the gift card tender option to non-cash drawer terminals definitely needs to be done in the mean time though. We only have one cash drawer terminal, so on a Friday or Saturday night it would back us up quite a bit making our pickup customers wait for us to enter a gift card number in for a delivery order.

    There should also be an option for gift card payments on terminals that don't have a cash drawer attached to them. They should be set up the same way credit cards are.

    Also, whenever the KPS refreshes, it takes you back to the oldest order. If you're making tickets out of order (like making pickup orders before deliveries), this can be annoying.
