Eliminate the hassle of paper receipts and updating credit card tips by using Thr!ve's on screen signature option! If you're not quite ready for the customer rear display, which shows the order as it's rung up on a mini iPad at your register, you can still get customers to sign on screen and add a tip (as of Version 8.0). Here's how:
Navigate to Configuration > General > Station Hardware and select your station. Check the "on screen signature" box.
Tender An Order:
Now, when you tender an order, after you swipe or enter a credit card, the screen will switch to the customer view. If you are using a tablet, hand the tablet to the customer, or flip it to face the customer.
The customer can sign, add a tip, and choose their receipt option.
If they choose email receipt, it will give them the option to enter their email unless the system has it recorded already.
Now, you have a signed copy of the credit receipt that can be reprinted at any time, and you don't have to enter the tip into the system again!
