Make Signatures On Credit Cards NOT Required

For faster processing, you can allow your customers to not sign their credit card receipts if their order is under a specific amount.

 Visa regulations allow for no signature under $25, Mastercard allows for under $50.   Check your merchant processing agreement confirm that transactions without a signature will not expose you to greater fraud liability.

To configure this setting, navigate to Manager Home > Config > Tax/Tender/Cash > Credit.



Towards the bottom of the screen; you will see the option to set a dollar amount for "No Signature Required On Transactions Under." Enter the amount here.

Note: Check your merchant processing agreement confirm that transactions without a signature will not expose you to greater fraud liability.



You can take this feature a step further and chose not to print a receipt if the transaction does not require a signature buy making sure the checkbox next to "Do Not Print Credit Card Receipts." is checked.




Be sure to save your changes.
