To configure the auto select setting, navigate to Manager Home > Config > Customers > Customer Setup.
Select “Yes” to disable the auto select and “No” to make this feature active.
Why would you NOT want to have this feature active? If you do not have a lot of customers in your database, the system may auto select a customer before you get the entire phone # entered. This can prevent you from creating a new customer record. If you find this to be the case, turn OFF the auto select until your customer database is more fully developed.
Be sure to save your changes.
