Printer Ticket Configuration

Printer ticket configuration allows you to customize how you would like your printed production and customer receipts to appear. Format can vary by order type, or create a unique ticket format for each printer. You can use the templates that are provided or you can customize your own.

Navigate to Configuration > Printers
You will be taken to the printer configuration screen > Click on Printer Ticket

Select Ticket Type: Select the ticket you would like to edit. If there is not one yet made you can create one by clicking on the drop down and then clicking Add New

A pop up will appear where you can add the name of the new ticket template you will be creating. When done click Add and it will take you back to the printer ticket edit screen.

You can set up this ticket to apply to all tickets or you can narrow it down and do a custom ticket for each order type by choosing an option from the Select Order Type drop down menu.

Choose some general settings for this printer
  • Print Logo.  This requires that you upload the graphic file to the printer as per the printer manufacturer's specifications.
  • Disable individual item printing.  This will override the feature, specified on item printer configuration, which prints a separate ticket for each quantity of the item ordered.  For example, if a ticket has 4 burgers on it, 4 tickets will print with 1 burger each.  But, for an expedite printer, you may want to define a template that cancels this feature.
