How To Add A Hotel
To create a lodging profile navigate to the Customer Screen.
Search for an existing lodging profile by clicking on the "Lodging" icon
OR, Click on the New button to create a new profile.
Click on the Lodging icon on the new profile screen. Enter in the Hotel's name, phone number, and address.
When you have entered in all of the information save your changes.
How To Enter A Guest Who Is Staying At A Hotel
Option 1: Start with Guest Phone
When you have a customer who wishes to place an order for delivery and is staying at a hotel, search for the Guest's phone #. "Add" if this is a new guest.
Here you will enter the guest's phone # and name. When you ask for the address, they may say they are staying at a hotel. Click the "Staying At" icon to bring up the hotel search. Enter the hotel name in the lodging field.
Select the hotel the customer is staying at. The "Guest Info" box will appear with the guest's name and phone # previously entered. Enter the hotel room here.
Click Apply Guest Info. You will now be ready to take the order.
The order will be saved under the hotel's record, but the guest phone / name / room # will not be permanently saved. This allows you to accumulate point totals and order history per hotel.
Option 2: Start with the hotel.
If you know that a guest is calling from a hotel, you can start by searching for the hotel. Click on "Lodging" and enter the hotel name in the lodging field.
When you select the hotel, the "Guest Info" screen will appear. Enter the guest name, phone and room #.
Choose Apply Guest Info and proceed to place the order.
