Capturing Customer Signature on Credit Cards

When a customer uses a credit card to pay for their order, it's handy to capture an electronic signature.  This makes it easy to reprint the receipt in the future if you need to provide evidence of a signature. 

With Thr!ve POS, we have 3 ways you can capture the customer signature.

1.  Use the on-screen signature feature.
If you are using tablets, you can flip the tablet to the customer to sign during the tendering process. 

To activate this feature, navigate to Configuration > General > Station Device.  Select the station, and check the box for On Screen Signature.

Once this is activated, when you are on the tender screen and swipe a card, you'll see the signature prompt.  You can now hand the tablet to the customer (or use a flip type stand) to let them sign and enter an email for their receipt. 

2. Use the Thr!ve Rear Display option
Thr!ve Rear uses an iPad mini facing the customer to display promotional messages and show the order as it is rung up. 
Once it's time to pay, the card is swiped and the customer can sign for it. 

3.  Use the Dr!ve App for delivery orders

Customer signatures are included on e-mailed receipts.
