Order Number appear upon submitting order
We would like the order number to appear after submitting the order. Currently we have to log back in and look for the order number on the order page

Dispatch Screen show Order Status (KPS)
For those using a KPS, it would be a nice feature to know if an order is ready or not.
Let the restaurant set the time after bumped for the order to be ready since everybody has different cook times. For example, if your cook time is 10 min, then in the system it will say it's ready 10 min after the order has been bumped.
On the order screen, have some sort of notation that an order is ready.
On the dispatch screen, maybe have the orders that aren't ready yet greyed out or a different color, or even…

Credit Card Transaction Fees Deduction for Driver Tips
We would like to be able to deduct the credit card transaction fee from the tip portion of the drivers delivery ticket.
(eg. Lets say a driver recieves a $10 tip on a delivery that is paid by Credit card right now when cashing out the driver recieves the whole $10. The average credit card fees for any transaction is right around 3%. We are looking at recoop the 3% when cashing the drivers out on the tip portion of the transaction not the whole ticket. The delivery notes and cross streets do NOT show up on the delivery tag
The notes to find an address (ie: back house, just past the 2 palm trees, always use the side door) and the cross streets do NOT show up on the delivery tag.

Promise Times on Order Screen
We were hoping we could add a promise time line on the order screen. We do a lot of timed orders for pick ups and there is currently no way to tell timed pick ups from normal pick ups. On the dispatch screen you can just look at the delivery promise time to tell the timed deliveries from the normal ones. We wanted to have the same feature on the order screen. Thanks

Change the last name and first name order from the caller id box.
Right now, last name goes into the first name box, and first name goes into the last name. Tech support told me because I run thrive, they can't change this. Can you change this?

Allow searching of specific items in orders
I would like to be able to search for a specific item when recalling or looking for orders.
i.e.: Employee loses ticket for a lg cheese pizza, i should be able to go to the system and search that item to find which tickets have that item on them and then reprint.5 votesHi Cody,

SCREEN TIME OUT
The screen times out and all information that you were working on gets trashed. Should not the screen auto log out when you touch a button or the mouse.
example: if you leave the final deposit screen up for longer than normal at the end of the night the system will allow you to plug in numbers and push the save button. Right after the save button is pushed the screen goes to the auto log out screen. The user thinks that the deposit for the night has been saved and sent however the machine just allow the user to…

Thank you for your feedback. The screen time out setting is user defined and can be turned off completely or set for a longer time period. To do this, go to Configuration > Employee > Timeclock and check the “Enable auto log out” setting. BRING BACK UNDO-SEATTLE BUTTON FOR DRIVER END OF DAY
MAKES IT SO TENDERS CAN BE CHANGED IF CUSTUMER SAYS THEY'RE PAYING CASH AND END UP PAYING WITH CHECK. OTHERWISE WE'RE COUNTING A CHECK AS CASH AND VISA VERSA.

Thanks for the suggestion. With a goal of simplifying user training , we’re trying to keep a consistent way of doing all tendering (instead of having 2 different ways to tender an order) so we have directed the workflow to the normal tender screen. With that said, we’ve gotten feedback that it needs to be easier to initiate a tender change from the driver details screen. So, in our upcoming version 8 release, we’ve added a link from this screen to let you undo the settle and load the ticket to retender. This will be out for beta within a few weeks, I hope it will help improve your workflow.In the meantime, you can go to the order screen, click on the order’s total to bring up the Full Review, and undo settle from there.

invoices that you can print from the full review screen
It would be nice to generate a pdf or jpg of a fancy looking invoice for customers. With all these nice features in this POS and all I can send my customers is a email of a ticket.
How about a 8.5 *11 print with customization of a header and footer?
To be able to email, print this invoice with only one or 2 clicks.

Delivery report
It would be nice to have a mapped out report of delivery areas to see where our deliveries are going. This will help maybe eliminate an area that is not getting much action, or we can advertise stronger in those areas. Maybe have pin heads with counts per block, or zones even???

Thrive Online/App customer experience
The online ordering needs an overhaul. We get complaints from customers all the time about the site freezing on them. It doesn't run as smoothly as it should.
The popup at the beginning asking the order type can be annoying.
Checking out requires too many clicks. Should have their default info already pre-checked and only require customer to check when they are making changes.
Make it easier for the customer to reorder previous orders. Most don't even know our site has that ability because it's hard to find. Check out chipotle's app how they have previous orders right in the…

Thank you for your feedback. We are always working on improving the online experience and your suggestions are valuable.Just to comment on a few of your specifics. Because order type can affect the availability of coupons and the tax rates, its pretty important to know it up front – we’ve felt that it creates more customer confusion if prices change or coupons are unavailable at the end of the order when a type is selected.
We are currently working on some changes to make the schedule option more prominent, so you should see that soon.
We can definitely look into making the Reorder option more prominent, and we do plan to improve the log on experience of the mobile app. As far as having the app function without internet — there are a number of real time updates that can occur between a restaurant and the app –…

Customer pickup order monitor
A monitor viewable to customers that has their order status on it. If the order is not ready, it could give an approximate time, or a countdown of when it will be ready.

change open screen to pick up instead of coming up as all orders
when going to order screen, it is set open, all types... and should be set as open pick up, as people have been continuously clicking on wrong orders for pick ups and cashing out deliveries on accident. ( could of bought a brand new computer system by the time i figured out how much money i was losing on this accident)

You can't tender a delivery order in store with cash
If a customer comes in the store and pays for a delivery order with cash, the system treats it as an expected payment rather than a tender. We have to write that it is paid for on the driver's ticket, otherwise there is no way for the driver to know it is paid for. We also have to make a drop since it charges the driver for it as well.

KPS to print at multiple locations when bumped
I need the KPS to print at 2 locations when bumped. As of now, it only has the option to print at 1.
